UK field tests for micro-CHP device – Cogeneration & On-Site Power Production Magazine

UK energy brokerage and consultancy Utilitywise is to field test a micro-combined heat and power (CHP) solution from Inspirit Energy, the companies have announced.

The two firms have signed an agreement for testing and field trials of Inspirit Energy’s Stirling engine-based micro-CHP product in Utilitywise’s market segment, which focuses on small and medium-sized businesses.

The agreement covers testing at several sites in the UK, and the companies plan to test the technology in a range of demand cycles including full and partial utilisation.
